They also shared a delectible looking chocolate lava cake and ice cream, complete with candles! Emily and I didn't get much of a chance at a bite, they inhaled it!
After lunch we walked over to Claires for the big moment - then we learned they'd have to wait an hour until their turn! So, after squealing over all the different kinds of earrings they'll soon be able to wear, we decided to head over to the GAP!
The girls had so much fun picking thru the clothes and trying on fun outfits together! I got a little glimpse into the future - I think these two could be trouble!
Syd spent the night before the big day and they discovered they had matching outfits to wear - can it get more perfect?

Ready, but nervous for her ears to be changed forever!
We had 2 ladies on the job - so we could do her ears at the same time, and I held her shaking little hands the whole way through!
Afterwards, she had tears in her eyes and didn't know whether to laugh or cry! She was so happy it was done, any trace of crying turned into giggles

As we headed back to the car the girls couldn't stop talking about their new earrings!
So we decided to stop in Ann Taylor Loft (we couldn't pass up their sale rack - $3.66 for dang cute stuff). As we were in the dressing room trying things on we could hear the girls a couple doors down saying, "Please pinch me, cause this day must be a dream! We never want it to end!" They are too cute! Thanks for sharing this MOMENTOUS day with us Emily and Syd! Can't wait to share their next momentous day together - their baptism!
