Makenna's Baptism

The weekend finally arrived for Makenna's baptism and for Grandma Lori and Papa to visit! We had a wonderful weekend and we feel so blessed to have shared it with the ones we love. Aunt Britt sent a special letter and blanket to Makenna since she and her family couldn't be here - it was congratulating her on her baptism and a reminder that the Holy Ghost can comfort us just like this blanket. I must say it is now Makenna's favorite thing to snuggle anytime, anywhere!

The kids loved wrestling Papa - and he was always up for it!

They especially enjoyed Papa's stories - the made up ones and the ones he read to them!

Just before her baptism program started we got Makenna's stuff set up in the changing room . . . and took a couple quick shots of her before the dunk!

I love this shot - what a wonderful blessing to be baptized by your Daddy!

The after shot of 2 wet girls!
It was so fun to share this day
with her best bud, Sydney!

Makenna's voice teacher, Cullie,
came with her husband to support
Makenna, so nice they came!

One of Makenna's favorite people,
Felicia - she brought her a special
little momento to always remember
her baptism, so sweet!

The two Grandpas!

Kate, Kenna, and Grandma!

Emily and her Sister - so nice they were able
make the trip from Arizona . . . I was so jealous,
wish my sister could have made it!
I do want to thank my sisters that live here - Trish for playing the flute, Krissy for leading the cousin's song. Thank you Debbie for leading the music and Mom for giving a wonderful talk! Thanks to Eric for conducting and everyone else who came and supported Makenna. For the many loved ones who weren't able to make it, we sure felt you in heart and in spirit!

What sweet girls!

That was a great day. I'm glad you got such great pictures for her to remember it all by.

Lonnie, how fun to see what your family has been up to! What a beautiful girl Makenna is and she seems so sweet, what a special day for her. I also make my girls wait until they are 8 to get their ears pierced (what strict moms we are!) Check in with us when you get a chance. braxcally.blogspot.com
