Easter Eyes

When you've been cursed with eyes bigger than Easter eggs - there's a good chance your kids will get 'em too. During Easter weekend we were at no loss for the big Easter eyes.

Easter morning - they got up at 6:30 am - as you can see they are going through their spoils in OUR BED - something's wrong with this picture.

We had a great Easter and the kids even posed for me after church with their Easter baskets (I did have to threaten a little that I would start taking away candy if they didn't take an Easter picture!) After a great church meeting we went over to G&G Liddell's to have an Easter feast of Ham, scalloped potatoes, salad, rolls, dessert, and good company. They did an Easter egg hunt - but not for eggs filled with candy. Each egg contained something that symbolized Christ's journey from the Atonement through the Resurrection - along with a paper which told us about each experience and the accompanying symbol. It was great - and then we watched "The Testaments", and the kids were all very into it.

Happy Easter 2009!
