The Stoddards

When we lived in Spokane we made some amazing friends. We're not sure if it was because it was the first place we lived after we got married, or that we had no family there so our friends became our family, or maybe just luck - but these friends are the kind of friends that even if you only see them once a year, it feels like there was no time lapse at all. Kim and Kevin Stoddard are this kind of friend - and even though it's been more than 2 YEARS since we've seen them, it really was like there had been no time pass at all - and that hug was what had been missing in our life the last 2 years. We decided we'd make the little jont over to Eugene after Church on Sunday and spend the afternoon and evening with them. We kind of felt like royalty the way Kim fed us - a full on ham dinner with all the fixins and delicious double desserts, thats right two - Baked Alaska and Angel Food Cake with fresh mixed berries and homemade whip cream (I'm salivating just thinking about it). When you mix good friends, with good food, and good memories - you can' t help but having a good, I mean GOOD time! We love you guys so much and just wanted to thank you for the wonderful visit and amazing food!

they had so much fun

When we lived in Spokane these kids were just babies! It was so weird seeing them so grown up and looking so old (thanks for the fashion show Anna, you cute girl!)

The Brothers - we'll get that Monopoly game in nex time Noah!

I just caught up on all your great photos. Glad you took a trip to see your friends, it's always worth the drive to get together with old friends.
